My father and I have just returned from a hunting trip with Irish Safaris, and we are extremely happy with the experience. From the very first contact by phone, Norman was friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with, and when we later met him in person, he was exactly the same – welcoming, genuine and down to earth.

I hunted together with his son Conor, who was an excellent guide – very skilled, knowledgeable and calm, with a great understanding of both the terrain and the deer. My father hunted with Kilian, who was equally professional and a pleasure to spend time with in the field.

The hunting takes place in the beautiful southern part of Wicklow Mountains, which are absolutely stunning and add a lot to the overall experience. There is a strong population of sika deer in the area, and the hunting is challenging in a good way – demanding, exciting and very rewarding. We saw plenty of deer during the hunt, and I was lucky enough to take a sika stag, which made the trip even more memorable.

Overall, we felt very well taken care of and truly welcomed. The service, guiding and hunting were all top quality. We would definitely recommend Irish Hunting Safari and would happily return in the future.
